Squirrely Sevens
In Squirrely Sevens, PEMDAS and SADMEP practice multiplication with the number seven. They harvest raspberries, carrots, and other fruits and vegetables from their spring garden to share with mice, rabbits, and squirrels in their community.
Written by a certified middle school math teacher, "Math Is Nuts" books read like entertaining children's stories, rather than educational texts. Whimsical watercolor characters and a thoughtful plot make math problems meaningful and memorable. The text is suitable for older children to read independently, but it is also great for parents, grandparents, teachers, and mentors to read and talk about with children of any age.
Multiplication skills are generally taught in the third grade. Understanding how a times table works and memorizing the multiplication facts helps make math easier and more fun later on. "Squirrely Sevens" focuses on multiplication with the number seven. Eights and nines can be found in other books of this series - coming soon!
